With over fifty years combined experience including more than ten years each years working as senior political advisers, John and Stephen have gained first hand experience and insight into the operations of Government and have developed extensive contacts with Ministers, their staffs and officials and Members of Parliament throughout Australia at all levels of Government and across the political divide.
Most importantly, John and Stephen bring to their clients a unique appreciation of how government at all levels works and have a long and successful track record in bringing that experience to bear on behalf of their corporate clients.
During his government career, John held senior advisory positions in the Hawke and Keating Federal and the Carr NSW Labor Governments. After completing a Law Degree at Sydney University, John served on the staff of Deputy Prime Minister and Attorney General Lionel Bowen from 1985 till 1990 including 3 years as Senior Private Secretary. He then spent four years as a senior adviser to Senator Nick Bolkus, the Minister for Administrative Services and Immigration and Ethnic Affairs.
Over the course of his career, Stephen has advised a wide range of companies across different industry sectors, including banking and finance, energy and utilities, infrastructure, professional services, health and ICT, on doing business with the public sector at both a Commonwealth and State level. He advised Duke Energy on their Eastern Gas Pipeline and Tasmanian Gas Pipeline projects.
